E39 Springs Shocks

Hey I was looking to lower my car and half the people Ive talked to said I need to change the springs and shocks. I wanted to know if anyone has just done the lowering springs by Eibach or H & R. The Eibach pro kit would do 1.5 inch drop in the front and a 1 inch drop in the rear. I got a 2002 530i n i already got da rims and i hate how it looks without the drop. Let me know if anyone got any info. Thanks

Hey I would go different, I got just bought some Intrax Lowering springs, cause my friends 00 323ci is hella low and still the ride is the same, nice and smooth, and he also has 19s and still smooth and soft, You dont need to change your shocks unless if you want to get really low, But hey watch out cause you may have to roll your fenders so the rims wount rub your car.
