E39 MAF Aftermarket fitting

From the excellent wealth of knowledge on this site I have already been able to "Self" Diagnose that my MAF was dead. So thank you Bimmerwerkz

Seeing as my MOT was due I ordered the MAF in the hope that the garage could fit it whilst car was being MOT'd. The garage have phoned to advise that I have purchased the wrong MAF for the car. The car is still in the garage so I cant check the numbers against the original MAF, so I was hoping that someone could let me know if they think the one I've bought should fit.

I have a 1998 S, 525i SE.

The part I bought shows compatibility with the following numbers:

O.E.M:
1432356
1362.1.432.356

SIEMENS:
5WK9605
5WK96050Z
5WK9608

HELLA:
8ET 009 142-021

IPL:
BM102

Or alternativley if anyone knows of a website where I can punch in my Registartion\License plate number to check against the original parts numbers.
