E39 M5 MKII NAVI - v23_CloneCD Software

Hello to everyone,

I am looking for some help/directions RE; MKII Navigation - v23_CloneCD Software.

I have 03/2000 E39 M5 with MKII Navi-Drive & 16:9 Screen.

Not that long I purchased a used MKIII Navi-Drive. I got it connected, but unfortunaly the MKIII Navi-Drive was bad. When I reconnect my original MKII Navi-Drive back, I lost some features from the radio. The station name doesn't always appear and name of the song playing no longer being displayed. Based on my research, when I plugged the MKIII Navi-Drive, I upgraded software in my head-unit. Due to that I lost some radio-display features, and now I have to down-grade the software back to the original specs, using v23_CloneCD Software.

I had down loaded v23_CloneCD Software, but I read some horror stories about software upgrades, so am I little hesitant. I can live with out the radio features, but I would hate to loose my Navi. Any suggestions?
