E39 Loose Window Track

Cheers,

The driver side front window rattles when closing the door with the window open. I disassembled the door panel and took off the black noise dumping material and realized that the top screw holding the rear track had gotten loose. It is on the opposite side of the window glass and I cannot get to it to tighten it up (neither with the window down, nor up).

Could you please suggest any way of fixing the problem? Thanks

Regards,

MZ

go to Welcome to BMW Tips www.BMWTips.com and read the "how to" for replacing the regulator. that will show you how to gain access to the bolt.

Brilliant!
I guess I just needed a confirmation that it is humanly possible . Will give it a try tomorrow.
Thanks a lot!
