I've installed a replacement MkI navigation unit in my 97 540i...Firstly it does not acquire a signal and when I try to get "vechicle position" the screen goes through some type of reset where it goes full red, green, and then blue, followed by a diagnostic screen with "Bitte Warten" written on it. (Translated as "please wait.") Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution? Any help would be appreciated... Regards,
