E39 Gps Antenna And Monitor Locked

Hello to everyone.
Does anybody know where is gps antenna on 520 touring (e39)?
And GPS unit ?

I've this problem: sometimes, my monitor 16:9 resets itself and sometimes crashes like windows. I hear radio or cd but screen is locked. I've seen it does this only if a cd or dvd is inserted in my mk4 navigator.
I was thinking to bought another mk4 unit, but I've made another tentative.
I've pull out cd from mk4. If I use monitor in split screen mode I see gps coordinate sometimes go blank...
So I think my problem is not due to mk4 and maybe it is due to GPS unit or GPS antenna! Maybe the connectors are dirty...

Does anybody have any ideas ?

E39 with sat/nav and traffic master used to have a fault with the traffic master ecu that would leave the monitor black. You could bypass the traffic master ecu easily as the wiring is a loop
