A few years back I had a E34 525iT with what I believe was the M50 motor. It was a 95, if that helps at all.
So now I'm in the market for a new daily driver and for the money I'm looking to spend, the 5's seem to be creeping in. I really enjoyed my last one, but would like to update a little bit. Here's where the questions come in. What to look for in the 525, 528 & 530(?)'s. I suppose my first questions is what series are they running and what differences should I note right off from the older car.
Also, any years or engines to steer clear of? I was honestly thinking I'd downsize to a 3 for maybe a little bump in MPG, but the 325 I drove seemed to rub my right leg in a way that made the car feel cramped.
