tdsteen n00b Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Michigan Car: 1997 BMW 528i Posts: 1 Photos:	E39 Front End suspension My front, driver side makes a clunking noise over minor bumps. The struts were replaced fairly recently. Sway bar seems tight. Any tests recommended to isolate the problem? I cringe when I drive it. Thanks for any suggestions. 1997 528i with 135,000 miles.

LOS 4th Gear Member Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: L.A Calif. Car: 97 540IA, 95 840CI Posts: 863 Photos:	From experience, make sure "ALL" the bolts are properly tight including struts. I had a similar problem. One of the bolts on the sway bar was loose when I replaced it! LOS
