chostovs n00b Join Date: Feb 2011 Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Car: 2001 530i sport Posts: 3 Photos:	E39 Cruise Control Hi, 2001 530i, the cruise control quit at about 125,000 kilomtres. The cruise light comes on when engine is started and i press the button on the steering wheel, but as soon as I touch the brake peddle the cruise light turns off and won't re-engage. Took to the BMW dealer to check codes and they said the MAF...I replaced the Mass Air Flow sensor (twice) as per the code. Both MAFs from a local wrecker (less than $100) as a new OEM MAF is over $700 (ouch). No change... any ideas welcome. best regards, Chuck Hamilton, Ontario
