Can anyone help me with a problem with my very dim dipped beam lights. Sometimes the lights dim and brighten continously and other times they are just dim. The main beam is fine. I've checked the voltage across both bulbs while they are switched on and itappears normal. As this is happening on both lights could it be an earth or some kind of control unit problem?

Any info much appreciated.

cheers

Paul

Check your ground wires. You should have a ground wire in the trunk next to the battery. To find it follow the neutral wire (-) and you should find is screw into the frame of the car. Check if its tight if not tighten it. There is also a ground wire some where by the engine I’m not sure where. Find it and also check if its tighten. That should solve your problems.
