E39 5281 Air Con

Hi, Does anyone know about the air con in a 528i e39?

The pressure switch is broken, i have found a shop to buy the replacement switch, but need to know if i can simply undo the old switch or if its under pressure?

Yes it's under pressure you will need to get the gas recliam and then refilled pressure switch faults aren't common has it lost it gas?????

The plug that connects to the switch got snapped off, and i need to replce it, i dont think its lost gas. cheers
