Hi I've just bought a 98 525 Touring.
The seat pad of the rear seat has 2x fittings at the front edge.
Looking at the way the seat trimming is finished and marks on the fabric, I suspect the bulk of the fitting should be on the outside of the seat. There is a metal bar on the seat that clips into the fitting.
Can anyone help me?
Sorted it.
The plastic fittings DO sit infront of the seat pad. They're also the mounts for the tonneau cover if you want the cargo net fittedbehind the front seats.
The metal bar previously mentioned fits behind the mounts not in the mounts.
