e34 turbo/supercharger

i have been looking all around the internet for a turbocharger or a supercharger for the E34's. i know Dinan makes one but thats $9,000. does anyone know of another one thats cheaper?

Interesting link Emir, but why is software not in any of those packages for the e34? Kinda missing a big item there.

Maybe they just forgot to list it ... I mean, a FI upgrade wouldn't really work as it's supposed to unless you upgrade the software -- I'd hope they know that. lol

do they have any turbos for the M60 engine? (V8). i dont see any here.....any place else i can get one?

They have the ESS one on there for $6000. Thats your best bet. Forced Induction is far from cheap when it comes to BMW's.

it sounds good, but it doesnt say how much HP and Torque would i gain from the 286hp i have now. also, what will the forced induction do to my gas milage? i would think it would make it worse. am i right?

i did some research on it.



1993-1995 540i VT1 7PSI Supercharger System (108-47)
The ''93-''95 540i 4.0 system is based upon a Vortech V2SQ main supercharger unit which gives exceptional power gains, with civilized everyday driveability.The system maintains all diagnostic functions and is 49 State Emissions Legal. It is backed by a comprehensive 2 year, unlimited mileage warranty. The system installs in 12-14 hours using normal hand tools. This system requires slight modification to the sheetmetal of the right inner fender.

-411HP (7PSI).
-CNC aluminum crank pulley.
-8 Larger Bosch fuel injectors.

-CNC hard anodized 20mm certal brackets and hardware.

What will this do to the transmission? i would think it would tear it up having all the power running through it. and my rear diff.? might have to change the gears too?

Thats a lot of torque. Youll defitnely want a better diff and no doubt youll need to spend another grand to grand and a half on a good clutch/flywheel.

Seems a bit high horsepower, especially since you're putting out so much torque and putting out 7 psi. At taht price I think youll want a intercooler and/or oil cooler.
