e34 turbo HELP!!!

hello every one im very new to this forum and to bmw's, i currently own a nissan s15 and rx7, but i have always had a soft spot for e34s classic shape , im living in Australia and plan to buy a e34 5 and turbo it, issues being all our motors have 250000kms plus on the engines, so im not sure if slapping a turbo onto a m30 would last very long, my hp goal is 400-500, so my options are rebuilding a 3.5 m30 which i don't know if i like becasue there a 12 valve engine, i underatand there bottom end is bullet proof but i'd be more inclined to buy a e36 m3 engine and turbo that or m5 engine,

If i was to put a m3 or m5 engine in what engine and transmission mount modifcations would i need to do, plus do you have preference on what engine i should use.

Also does any know where i could get hold off if possible

LSD

bushing and ball joint replacements

if possible castor, toe and camber arms

coil overs, i have heard of ground control

Thank you for any help

y not buy an e34 m5 and turbo charge that? im from ireland but im moveing to oz next week i looked into shipping my e34 over but iv decided to sell it to finance my move but it wasnt going to cost that much! and you can pick up m5s here or in england for very little it will have everything includeing an lsd capable of handeling up to 1000hp (they use those diffs in drag raceing here)

My dad suggested that, well i can pick up an e34 535 with all the mtech body kit and good interior for about 6 grand, i have been quoted for a total rebuild on a bmw 3.5ltr v8 for 5 grand with forged internals, then to turbo it would cost about another 6 grand, i would then hopefully have an 500-600hp carfor the cost of 17 grand, i have looked at m5s in aus the cheapest being 24 grand then 30 grand, i would rather the m5

Welcome to the Werkz. Its good to have another Aussie on board.

Once you settle on the car you are going to buy, and you still want a LSD, get in touch with Dan at diffsonline.com - Custom Geared BMW LSD Differentials, tell him what you are trying to do and he'll custom build a diff for you, it will cost a bit to build and get here, but he is well regarded in the diff world.
