E34 Touring Antenna pics

Here are a couple of pics of what I'm faced with. My antenna mast is snapped off at the end and looks like crap. It works OK, just looks like crap. I'd like to put a new one on, but, everything I've seen at either the auto parts store, or on Ebay, has the wrong end on it.

As you can see in the pics, the stud is recessed far into the base on the roof. I've tried to remove it in the event that another could be installed in its place, however, it either does not or will not come out. The antenna mast itself has the female threaded part in a narrower cylinder that protrudes from the bottom of the mast and goes into the base and aligns the mast.

Unless there is some way to remove the recessed stud from the base on the roof, there doesn't seem to be an aftermarket option to install on this car. The shark fin antennas have a nut that threads into the roof base, but, that would mean that the base would have to have the female threads. This car doesn't have that. Everything else seems to have the same base as the pic on the far right.

Anyone have any ideas or know where to get this type of antenna? None of the BMW parts suppliers I've found seem to carry antenna parts.

I know ebay's antennas come with adapters. The adapters on those antennas aren't like mine. Theirs are all universal antennas with adapter studs that can be threaded into the antenna mast AND the base. My base has a stud recessed into it that won't or doesn't come out. Therefore, the adapters in these universal antennas don't work on my car. Need something that screws in similar to the one I have.
