E34 Side Indicators Won't Flash

Please can someone help me, i bought my 520i in december and although the front and rear indicators work fine, both of the side indicators do not work, i have tried changing the bulb and i have had the relay out and checked and have bin driving like this ever since and it has been buggin the crap out of me : .

Does anyone have a pic of what the pins on the indicator relay are supposed to look like , as there is a pin labeled C2 on mine and it look as if it might have snapped off. even thought all the pictures i havve found do not appear to even have this pin.

if im totally of track can someone please point me in the right direction?

I don't have any experience with the side indicators as my car doesn't have them, so I can't really help you -- we can just wait for someone more knowledgable on the subject to drop in.

I do however know a way you could fix it: you could run wiring from the indicators and tap into the front ones -- it would work exactly the same.

What year is your car?

Most e34s with sidemarkers aren't supposed to flash, they just light up when the parking lights are swtiched on.

I believe he means the side repeaters on the fenders.

I have a 1992 520i SE UK spec and the side indicators are on the wings, not on the bumpers,
