i am having a problem with my 1991 535i. It was starting fine then the other day it took a bit a cranking to start it and it ran fine and the it happened again and the end of the day. Now it won't start unless I crank it for a long time. I replace the fuel pressure regulator and it started. I let it sit for a day to see it would start and it now does not again, but now it is saying "oil pressure sensor". Has anyone had this problem before and is it possible the oil pressure sensor would cause the car not to start?
I have also check the fuel pump and it seems to be working fine.
