Any help appreciated...

my 1990 E34 520 has sat down and refuses to get up again!
There is no ignition spark. So far i have changed the ignition leads, checked out the (previously replaced) coil, and the pulse sensor. The resistance across terminal 1 and 2 of the crankshaft (position? ) sensor reads 497ohms which is on the edge of ok according to Bentley. Where should I go from here?

Thanks for the reply billB, but the link didnt help as mine is an older engine type (M40). I since swopped the Motronic 'brain' with a known good one , but no change. I guess its time to recycle the bugger.
