e34 M50 NV Turbo question

hi guys,


i want to know more information about turbo boost for my M50 non vanos with 5speed manual transmission.

i wasn't looking for BIG increase on HP (400-500), i would like to go with engine longevity but with turbo, and horsepower that i'm looking is aroung 290-320 HP or around that,

my question is to manage this longevity and 290-320 horsepower, what all the things that i need to modify to this engine? i have a shop that can do the fabricate and welding also, i know with NA is impossible to reach this HP.


i'm thinking on some of ebay deals on turbo kit


some people consider it not reliable but some people consider it quite reliable,

Im was thinking to use all plumbing except the turbo and just buy a garrett/holset off ebay. That would still put the purchase at roughly $1200..


what do you guys think?
