E34 Coming From L.a.

Hey guys, I'm waiting on a 94 530i 5 speed, it's on route from L.A. I live in N.Y., my question / concern is the big temp. drop we are having. This car has 152,000 miles all from L.A., now the car is entering a cold city, should I be worried?
What steps can I take to insure the car wont die on me when I take it home, is there anything I should look for before I get started on my way home ( other then your regular walk around )....?
I believe the car is in working order, so lets just say the car is in good condition, it should take to the weather just fine with all it offers ( heated mirrors, heated washer jets, heated locks, outside temp. read out ).......

It should be just fine especially when it comes to cold weather; as you can tell I am next door from you (NJ) and if anything, I would've worried about hot weather since BMW engines LOVE to run on the hot side. My best wishes and good luck with your new car. Enjoy
