E34 brakes suddenly locked up

Was driving home when suddenly the rear brakes just locked up. Then tried to move off and the car went forward a bit but then it wouldn't go anymore. I then put it in neutral an tried to push, but same thing. I then put it in reverse and it went backwards fine. Then tried forwards again and it was fine. Im thinking something got caught and locked up the axel or something simmilar.

Any ideas???

Glad you're allright. Is it moving now? Definantly inspect the wheels that locked up as well as the drivetrain (driveshaft, rear-end, halfshafts, bearings, ect.)
