The project will probably happen quite a bit down the road, but I'm looking at getting a pair of small turbos ball bearing Garrett T25s would work fine, and boosting about 12.5 to 13PSI max. That would be equivalent (but infinitely more efficient) to the Dinan stage 3 supercharger which produces about 426hp and 398lbs/ft of torque. I plan on running each turbo through it's own individual intercooler (probably going to try to Ebay ICs from a 300zxTT, it uses individual ICs) and back into a main intake manifold, most likely a modified version of the stock one. I'm also going to see if I can possibly find a performance engine rebuild kit so I can have a fully balanced motor. I'm also planning on Dinan exhaust and Dinan hot cams (unless anybody else makes good quality E34 540i parts) I'm still trying to figure out how to rig up Air Mass Meters to run in parallel. Anybody who knows about this, I would appreciate it.
I mostly just want the Alpina body for it's beauty. I can promise that the car will go much harder than any B10.
