e34 525i running rough... cold weather?

Hey guys, the 5er is acting up a bit.

I can't put my finger on it, but I'm having some trouble with the car just not wanting to respond as of late. Occasionally it's got a bit of a rough sound to it, not stalling or sputtering, just kind of being sluggish.

I've got no fault codes from the engine. Air filter is brand new. The only thing that has really changed is that the temperature has dropped drastically.

I haven't done much poking around under the hood for cracked hoses... Spark plugs were changed last year, the air filter is a brand new K&N, oil could probably use a change but it's under 3000 miles since the last one.

What should I look for that could cause the car to run rough with cold weather? I'm just not getting that same feeling when I hit the gas as I used to.

I had an issue kinda similar but my car was shutting down. Came to find out I got a tank of bad gas. Two tanks later with HEET in both tanks, and its as good as a car with 150K on it should run.

I hate 3.04 a gallon... I'd rather pay 3.07 and not have to worry about shitty gas.
