On ignition the car goes clunk but on second ignition not a problem I have checked 80amp fusible link, new battery & leads, checked starter motor, new spark plugs any ideas
Sounds to me like the starter solonoid is not ingaging 1st time. could be a bad connection or its on its way out, you may have to change the whole starter motor if the solonoid and motor are one unit.
