I have massive problems with vibration through the whole car. This is not a wheel balance problem. Through reading previous topics i believe it is the rubber coupling on the prop shaft. My question is can you change this coupling without removing the whole prop shaft and do you need any special tools. In other words can you just remove the through bolts and it will drop out.
The propeller shaft must be removed. You will need some snap ring pliers and also preferrably a press to remove the bearing and some sort of tool to install the new 1. BMW makes a installation tool, but the right size pipe will work in a jam.
