E34 - 1989 535i - Need ideas for upgrades.

Hey all,

I want some good ideas for performance and aesthetic upgrades.
i want to maintain the classic look of the E34 so this means i don't want any really flash body kits or 22" rims ect.. just some nice things to make her get to 100kmph faster than she does now, which is approx 6.8 sec.

thus far i have Added;

-M5 sports exhaust system - custom twin tips..

-A K&N Pod filter.. i would also love some advice on this too.. it tends to allow the car to go up another notch on the Temp Gage,
it worry's me slightly.

Where did you get intake from?

Well, M30s love boost... so I'd be tempted to stay away from the little things and save/ read up on turbos. And stay away from ebay kits.
