I am having a hard time keeping the car running after I cleaned under the hood with some Gunk spray. Once I rev the engine past 2kRPM, it dies....
I cleaned on the driver side really only the steering components and that side of the block. any ideas?
It sounds like you have moisture in your electrical system. Did you do this with a warm engine? If you did, there could be condensation inside your distributor cover due to the cooling effect. Anyways, remove the distributor cover, dry it with a clean rag and spray some WD-40 inside. Let it dry and re-install, start your car! Also, maybe the cleaning pulleed a connector just enough to open the electrical connection so check each and every connection and make sure that it's tight and dry. You didn't specified which model you have but if it is a 528e, check the AFM connector (it is on the driver's side for this model)
