I need to change the o-rings on a 1988 528e's fuel injectors and am wondering if it's possible to do without removing the air plenum/intake manifold.
If anyone has a Bentley (or other) manual for this model I would greatly appreciate a short list of what needs to be removed and in what sequence.

Also, while removing the heater blower motor for replacement, I of course lost one of the four little clips that hold the cage shroud halves together (2 on each side).

It binged-off somewhere and of course it can't be found with magnets, cussing, praying, pleading, etc. Where would I find something like this outside of a salvage yard?

Which motor do you have? Check the E30 section for a Bentley Manual PDF. I know my E30 Haynes Manual covers some 5 Series engines as well.

It's the 2.7 L straight six.
