E28 Exhaust Ideas?

I want to get a more "aggressive" sounding exhaust for my 535i, anyone have any ideas or advise?

I don't know what it has but here is a picture; if it helps at all.

The exhaust looks stock to me and I don't know of any bolt on performance systems for the E28. If I were you I would go to a muffler shop and have them build something for you.

Open headers then?

I know it has 2 mufflers on it and a cat that was put on in the early 2000's; but I have to go through emissions and it doesn't exactly pass as is, but if I can register it as a classic I can cut the cat off and do what ever I want.

Check out Ireland Engineering E28 stainless steel cat back system. It will the last one you'll buy and weighs about 20 pounds less than stock! plus it sounds great also.

there are bolt on systems(Catbacks) available. I think it is spelled Stebro Sounds awesome(just installed one on a buddies car)
