Hello guys, first of all it's been almost a year since i've posted that i was planning to buy a old beemer and planning to do an engine swap.. well time has come to put some ends together..
I will introduce my self a little bit and what my plans are.
Well i'm from the Netherlands, 21 years old (for the ladies
), i'm the mechanix at a tractorpull team soo thats why i'm planning to buy (still looking around for it) a E28 524td
The plan:
The plan is to put a 3.0litre turbo diesel from a 530d in it.. but i'm already looking for that engine for like a month soo those are hard to find and if i find one then i need to pay 3500 euro's for it... soo i think i will first stick with the 2,4ltr engine.. and tune that one a little bit, i would like to get something like 180-200hp out of it (if it doesn't blow up). Soo things i already have in mind is fitting an intercooler, meaby a little bit bigger turbo, different intakeheaders(home made) i can let the pump be tuned up if it doesn't give enough diesel. I don't want to spent to much money on the engine because i want to put the 3.0ltr in it. I will take the engine to the same tuner that makes our engine for tractorpulling to let him have a look at it.
for the exterieur, i would like to build it alpina style.. but i'm looking for those bumpers and i don't know if the bumpers from a E21?? will fit..
well if you guys have some suggestions or ideas bring them on,
