Anyone done any engine swaps in an e28 (1988 to 1982)? I've just finished the transplant and installed the new ecu and idle control module and have a few wires hanging around that I'm not familiar with. There is a black box in the ecu area that has 2 large prongs and there is no matching wires on the harness. Also, there are a couple loose wires on the harness with no mate in the cabin. In the engine bay, there is a large pronged wire just before the firewall hole that looks similar to an abs hookup that doesn't have any similar wire anywhere near it. If you can help, let me know.
