driver window glass doesn't go down

I tried taking the panel off of the door. (driver door)
1. removed the speaker and connections.
2. Removed the door locks knob
3. Removed the middle screw (behid the door handle)
4. Pryed out the clips around the door.

1995 525i

Problem is: Panel still doesn't want to come out. ghead Some thing is holding in the middle. Don't know what it is or how to remove that. Am I missing any thing to take off ? (off the door or panel)

not sure on 5 but my 3 series has two screws behind the decerative trim ie wood panel trim strip. Is it the door handle cable? or are there any screws under the armrest? used my 2 cents worth

I don't see any screws or holes under the arm rest.

check out this link. it had a procedure on how to remove door panels. Hope this helps.

That link worked very well. I was able to open the whole panel and figure out what happend. Whole mechanism works except criss cross bars lost their end pieces that holds glass and wheel is off the track.
