1994 BMW 540I: Found failed drivers side window this morning. Not broken out but completely pop-corned cracked. No evidence of criminal activity. Can this happen on its own? Currently the window is starting to fall out in tiny pieces. No big swing in temperature or anything like that.
it happens. differences in outside glass surface(i.e cold weather) and inside glass surface(i.e. heater ON) will cause stress on the glass and make it more sensitive to jolts and impact.
