| Mine is a 1989 E34.
For some time now, I have lived with the central locking working fine from the driver's door, but being unable to open the doors from the passenger door lock - even though it would lock all doors.
Suddenly, things have changed! For no apparent reason, now the passenger door lock operates the central locking - opening and locking - but the driver's door lock will only lock all doors and will no longer open them.
We have had overnight frost recently - perhaps that has had an effect?
Whatever the cause - what is the most likely fault and how to repair?
