I have a 525i e34 and was very happy with it until it ran hot.
I have put in a new water pump and notice a leak comming from the bottom of the expansion tank. Does anybody know if it just pulls out like it loos or is something else holding it. I want to put a chip in it but it seems pointless if i can't stop this leak.
Somebody please hit me back if yo9u know cause i got to ride, I just don'tt want to tear it up.
I think i need to replace tha O-rings on my expansion tank but I not sure on how to get it out. When I pull on it the whole radiator comes with it. Should I just keep pulling?

Hi, looks to be one screw holding it in.....see # 6 in link below....
I took all that stuff off. Is it just tight from the O-rings. Cause it looks like thats all thats left holding it on
I would also try removing # 9 the screw plug on the bottom, it seems like it goes through the bottom of the tank, if not, you could be right, its probaly just very snug..... check it out....
