Queegy n00b Join Date: Jun 2011 Car: Posts: 5 Photos:	Disconnecting the battery on 2004 545I Is there a prescribed way that I should disconnect the battery as I don't want to lose any programming when I do so. Also does anyone have a suggestion on where to get a climate control module for this car? I would prefer a re- manufactured if possible.

Disconnecting your car battery is a very difficult procedure...
1- Remove the Negative (-) Lead.
2- Go and Have a Bath, shower or even watch an episode of CSI... (Leave it off for an hour (to be Sure))

BTW when you put it back on, you should have factory settings...

As for the module, Ebay may be your best chance !!
