Hello,

Don't have a manual for my 2000 528i.

Can you tell me what the dashboard light is that is green and looks like a little clock with an arrow pointing down at ten o'clock?

It is on the right of the driverside dash lights. So it is a green circle with an arrow pointing down at 10:00.

It was on yesterday. Then went off after a restart.

Go to BMW North America, LLC. - BMW North America and click on "owners circle", bottom left corner. Join and register the car with them. They have free manuals after you sign up. There is no fee to sign up or for the manual.

Hi that would be your cruise control indicator, it automaticaly goes off when you turn the ignition off.
