dash light on above seat belt indicator

Hi,
I am new here. I am about to purchase an E39 sight unseen.
From the photos there is an orange light on the right side, just above the seat belt indicator.
Which light is this?
Thank in advance!
Ben

Looks to me to be the ABS light, which could be a number of things, when you've got just do a diagnostics, may just be the sensor or worse it could be the abs pump has died.

It just means the ABS is switched off, so drive home carefully.

turned out to be a sensor

I think the mechanic said it was a brake pad sensor.
brake pads and sensor replaced, light was out after that.
