Anyone have any knowledge on how I can diagnose a problem with my cruise control. It just does not work at all, it actually never has since I bought the car back in December? I checked the fuses and they seem to be in check...although the headlight washer pump fuse is gone as the pump is shorting out, I got this diagnosed earlier.
Is this something I could fix on my own without shelling out a lot of cash???
Dear Scotty: Since I don't know the year/model of your car; here is some general info. and I hope you will be checking the least expensive stuff 1st: things like fuses then the cruise control grounds (I believe the cruise grounds through the brake light bulbs????) Meaning no brake lights translates into a cruise control problem….i.e brake pedal switch/bulbs corrosion build up etc.
Wish you a good luck

ooooops EDIT: Just noticed it on your sig (94 530 Baah)....Sorry but too late!!
