hey my '91 525i frequently displays the Coolant Level Warning light on the instrument panel but when i check, its near max. Is this a common problem, and how could it be fixed? would changing the coolant temperature sensor suffice?
any suggestions would help obviously, thanks
Hey, you're not alone. I'm getting the exact same thing and I dunno what it is. But my bimmer (apparently) needs a new cylinder head. So I may have more than one problem. :banghead
Replace the fluid level sensor. If your car is Auto, sensor is below the reservoir. Best of luck. B)
