Coolant for an e34... - BMW Forum

Is there any need for "special" coolant on an e34? Or does the usual Prestone "green" coolant suffice? I have an e24 that requires wierd coolant, so i'm wondering if this model is similar, and without an owners manual I am in the dark.

On that subject, where might one procure an owners manual? I Tried Koala Motorsport but i havent heard back from them at all, and i do not think they shipped it.

I must admit however, my bimmer is rather polite...

The six series is REALLY polite! It doesnt mention ANYTHING until it's a REAL problem...heh

I hate to say this, but the CSI has been beset by rust. I did what i could with a can of bondo and some primer. But your gonna cry when you see the picture I'm about to post..

its around midnight here, so its not gonna be the best lit picture, but it gets the point across.

Never fear however, the car WILL be restored to its former glory. I just need to get the rust taken care of, and then i can get the interior fixed up a tid bit (dash cracked in a spot, leather needs redye restitch... passanger seat needs unfuckage...)
