Angry consumer counter

Hiiiii all bimmers and friends

i have E39 2003 520i
usually on consumer digital counter i have reading between 11 to 17L in city and normal driving, but yesterday suddenly it started to rise and the reading were between 20 to 30 at the same conditions. i reset the counter and it starts at 35 then come down slowly but not under 20.!!!!!!

did any body know about this or happened with him?

Have you confirmed a change by calculating the actual fuel used over a distance measured by your trip odometer?
