Hey guys,
this is my first post, and I don't own a bimmer...
but I've been looking around for some 5 series, and found some 528i with 5spd trannys. One of them has about 90k on it... I was wondering how reliable the 5 series are. And if anyone has a 5 with more than 90k miles, and can give some feed back that be great! Thanks!!
I own a 98 528i and I have 85K or so, to date I have had 0 problems? I might just be lucky, there are quite a FEW known problems butI have had none. Hope I didn't just jinx myself!

I'm also wondering how long the bmw engines are good for. I know that Honda and toyota motors run stong untill about 200k or so. On avg, inc 3 series 5, and 7... the reliablity of the bmw motors?? Thanks! Sorry I'm a complete bimmer noob.
