Anyone know of anywhere (preferably UK) where I can get the coding plug which fits on to the back of the instrument cluster re-coded? Is this even possible? It's for my E34 525 TDS

My other option is to pay 150+ to a dealer to buy an uncoded plug and then to get them to code it, which in anyone's book is extortion!

Only other option is to find an independent garage that has the same equipment that the dealership uses only charges less. The coding plug is an integral part of the car and contains equipment and mileage information. Its coding protocols are not readily available to just anyone for obvious reasons.
