Hey guys, I just started posting up on this forum not so long ago, mostly questions about a 94 530i I bought from Ca. Well after waiting 25 days for it to get to me, boom...... The clutch went on me today, my first day with the car....
I was testing what she had, but not to much. I have driven 5 speed for 6 years now & I know what I'm doing, funny thing is the damn thing just went out on me. No real slipping or any signs at all for the most part.
But, damn I still love the car, for the time I was able to drive it, I fell in love....
the inside looks & feels great, the outside looks just as good...
It was really dirty when I first got it, but ones I went to the car wash that was it... Good power & feel, even with 152,000+ miles on it.... Guess the clutch was ready to go......I'm not happy about the clutch, but this car is going to stay with me for a while, I HOPE.....
Well, I just needed to vent....
Hey, can you guys give me any ideas on smone aftermarket clutch kits I can look at, somthing good, but cheeper then the stock stuff..... Thanks......
hey i've got a new master clutch and slave with the complete paperwork from my mechanic. if you're interested, let me know. i love my car and hate to see it go, but if i can help out my fellow 530i enthusasits, i'll try.

I haven't, it's still at the shop. The flywheel was worn out too...
And another $700 to that $1200......
But I still say it's a great car...
I think if feels alittle like my 2001 VW GTI, as far as speed, even handle in some ways... The car feels new to me, can't tell there's 11 years on this car......
I'll get it back this weekend, with the new clutch & flywheel I should be able to have some good fun.....
Hey everyone, I didn't want to start a new thread just for this question.
As you can see I have a 94 530i as talked about here.
I'm looking to do some work to the car, at first I was thinking all looks ( body kit, rims, sound ), but I think this car has a lot to work with. So, I'm thinking Turbo kit!!!!
I have a MazdaSpeed Protege with lots of work done to the engine & body, so I'm into modding up my cars. The 530i was going to be just to get around with, but now that I felt what this car is made of I want more.....
Question is would you guys Turbo a 530i with 152,000 miles on it?
Can it hold the 300+ HP gains with out forged rods & pistons?
As far as looks & feel go, my 530i looks the part....
I say she can handle it, what about you guys.....
I'm new to the whole BMW life, so please give me any & all the info you guys can...
Thanks
