Check Side Lights Message

Maybe its me but can't figure out what lights I am supposed to check?

Can someone direct me to the lights that may be in need of a bulb replacment?

Everything I check on my 2002 525 seems to be fine.

Side lights are side lights? ah! you may call them parking lights ?

US spec cars need to have parking lights visible from the side of the car, front and rear.

No side lights defined in the user manual. Are we talking the sides of the front and rear light fixtures? I don't see any bad bulbs .....

I had the same problem, but I cant remember off hand which light I replaced. I could see a bulb out, but could not find it. I was looking down in the fender on the side of the headlight assy. It turned out to be a bulb up near the headlights that lights that area up down in the fender. Hope that helps.

Side lights, also known as sidemarkers -- the lights on either front fender.

UK side lights are:

Rear red x 2 the same lights as when you turn on the lights.

Front x 2 these are located in the dip beam internal lense and take a W5W 501 bulb.
