hey all, I'm new to the forum so it might take me a while to get this right
the check engine light came on yesterday and in the past I'v been able to find the problem and correct it and reset but this time I get no code on the peake tool I have and I can't reset it... anyone know what could turn the light on but not show a code ? I'm not even sure where to start with this problem....
that was my thoughts too but I got a new gascap not long ago and sholdnt that generate a code too ? So if the light is on but there are no codes, no real reason to worry ?
Also is there a trick to putting the cap on or something I can test for its fit ?
