cheap power. e28 535

besides a chip. what other cheap and easy things can i do to boost the power of my 535? im thinking of a larger throttle body. but what else can i do?

cheap and easy... Im not really sure, but if you get the larger throttle body, be sure to get a MAF on there too

You really don't need to replace your AFM with a larger throttle body.
You can get a cam as well and intake of course.

what do you mean by an intake? and how much will a new cam affect it. and how much does it cost. is it worth it getting an old turbo from a e28 524td and puttin it on my car

The turbo from the 524td will not help your car. Diesel cars are low revving and the turbo will choke your car at high rpm's. Also it was tuned for a smaller displacement engine.

An open element filter for example a cone type. You will need a heat shield because it will suck in hot air from the engine compartment.

wether it was stock or added by the previous owner i have a cold air intake... its behind the highbeam light, with a shield. but its not a cone style filter. it goes into the flat filter

oh thats right, those are the new hyper warp drive photon cams.... Some dyno proof might make that a little more credible, otherwise i dont believe that monster hp gain at all.

Huge dollars to modify an engine by the time you fit highlift camshaft,port heads,raise compression ratio,recalibrate software,larger throttle body,bigger injectors,headers...etc etc etc.........

save yourself the trouble and go out and buy an E39 540i.........you'll love it !!
