Okay, I want to do my own PLUGS. Can anyone point me to a "HOW-TO" checklist? Also, has anyone had success with a type of plug and the 540....I'm sure there all good, but what's the best????

Thanks in advance........nerf-out

325isBaby is on a distinguished road

Depending on year and Engine of the 540 we speak of...Assuming E39.

M62 (up to 7/97) Bosch F7LDCR or NGK BKR6EK
M62TU (all) NGK BKR6EQUP or Bosch FGR7DQP

All of which come with a non-adjustable spark gap.
Hopefully helpful.

1998 540i 6sp, so I am thinking its a M62TU, although I'll check the owners manual to be sure regarding PLUG TYPE, probably go with OEM....Thanks
