Is it possible to change the light bulb in the headlight switch? I removed the switch from the dash but couldn't find the bulb connector. I assume it is inside the switch but didn't want to dismantle the switch. Is is easy to dismantle the switch if this is the case?

Cheers

If this is for your 98 535 (e34???)... the headlight switch is illuminated by a small amber LED. The best way would be to honestly get a new one...If you try to replace yourself, you'll never get the same brightness or color. The price for a new one runs about $70 (USD).

Regards,

Apologies, I made a typo in my member info. I drive a 1988 535i, not a 1998 535i. So I don't think it has LEDs.
